1. Power Indicator Lights Up, but System Does Not Run

- Ensure the laptop is properly connected to the power source and the battery is installed correctly.

- Try connecting the laptop to an external monitor and switching to the external display mode. If the external monitor displays normally, it's likely that the processor and memory are functioning correctly. If not, there might be an issue with the processor and memory.

2. Crashes and System Auto-Restarts

- Frequent crashes or system auto-restarts are often caused by corrupted system files, viruses, or application conflicts. It could also be due to the laptop not supporting a specific operating system. Environmental factors such as temperature and humidity can also contribute to these issues. Solutions include cleaning the laptop, using a cooling pad, or using the laptop in an air-conditioned environment. You can also set the laptop to shut down automatically at regular intervals.

3. Boot Failure

- This is one of the most common issues faced by laptop users. When encountering this, first check if the laptop is properly plugged in:

- Is the battery properly installed?

- Is the adapter successfully connected to the power source?

- Is the power button on the power outlet turned on?

- You may try replacing the power adapter (make sure it's the correct one). If the laptop still doesn't turn on after replacing the power adapter, there could be a fault on the motherboard. At this point, it's best to disassemble and inspect the laptop (only if you're confident; otherwise, it's recommended to take it to a regular repair center to avoid causing further damage).

4. No Sound or Audio Disturbances

- If you find that your laptop has no sound after turning it on, it's usually due to issues with the computer's speakers or sound card. If it's not a hardware issue, first check the sound card driver by right-clicking "My Computer," "Properties," "Hardware," "Device Manager," "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers," right-click on "Realtek," and select "Update or Scan," "Uninstall, and then reinstall."

5. USB Ports Not Functioning Properly

- If the computer cannot recognize, read, or write to external devices, there may be an issue with the USB port itself or the external device. Check if other USB ports on the motherboard have the same issue. If they all do, it could be a motherboard problem. Then, check if the USB port is damaged, has poor contact, or is poorly connected. Also, check if the drivers for certain USB devices are correctly installed and whether the USB ports are set to "ENABLED" in the BIOS settings.

6. Touchpad Malfunction

- If the touchpad is not working properly, it could be due to the quick keys being turned off, incorrect touchpad driver settings, motherboard or touchpad hardware issues, poor interface connections, or other software or setting problems. If the mouse pointer is not responsive while using the touchpad, it could be due to model issues, individual user differences, or software issues (such as the touchpad driver). In these cases, first check if an external mouse is connected, then use a MOUSE test program to check if it's working properly; those who can disassemble the machine can check if the touchpad's connection is correct.

7. Abnormal Screen Display

- If the screen display is abnormal at startup, it could be due to issues with the LCD screen, screen cable, graphics card, or motherboard. Components such as the laptop's motherboard, graphics card, and memory could be faulty. If the laptop intermittently displays white or green screens during operation, it's likely due to factors related to the laptop's graphics card driver compatibility. "Blue screen" errors are usually caused by software issues or system overheating.
